The true stars of Sedona, Arizona are the massive, red rocks jutting out on the horizon. Powerful and authoritative, they stand guard over the southeast horizon. The terrain folds against each other in varying shades of blue and grey, as if it was created by layering thin, glossy pieces of paper in a collage along the skyline.
Acting as a paintbrush, the sun slowly applies the colors of the desert in subtle shades of reds and greens as it rises over the plateau. I breath deeply, filling my lungs with the dry, cool morning air and clear my mind of all thought.
